EQUIPMENT
Within our gymnastic classes in Bramhall and Cheadle Hulme we are very lucky to have a whole range of gymnastic equipment! We have floor mats, trampette, springboards, vaulting table, beams, bars, crash mats and other smaller fitness pieces. All the essentials for your gymnastic training.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Gymnasts are required to wear a t-shirt/leotard and shorts/tracksuit bottoms or leggings with any long hair tied up. Jewellery cannot be worn. Earrings that cannot be removed must be taped up. Please also bring a drink to each session. Gymnasts will train in their bare feet. To increase the confidence and pride in training, we have optional club kit for you to buy.
WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU ARRIVE
Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before the start of your session. Once you have got through the entrance gate, please go to the main entrance door, this is where you will always drop off your gymnast. Pick up will always be around the back of the building through the green gate. If you are running late for a session please use the club doorbell found on the wall in the main entrance.
HOW WE PROGRESS OUR GYMNASTS
We have our own ‘ENERGY’ awards program whereby gymnasts work towards different level badges and certificates. These are annually assessed and awarded at a club event. At the end of every session we also announce Gymnast of the week, this could be a gymnast who has progressed in their skills, displayed excellent behaviour or grown as an individual. In all of our classes, the children are split into small groups according to their age and ability. Should children be suitable for our advance classes, they will get an invite.
CLUB EVENTS
At Energize Gymnastics club we love bringing the community together! Each year we host a minimum of 1 club event per year. In the past, these have included competitions, Fun Days and Performances! #GymnasticsFunInBramhall
For gymnasts in advanced classes we also enter some local external competitions.
WHAT’S NEW?
✅ Parents can now watch every session (Starting 17th March). We are inviting parents back into sessions to view your children’s classes. (Please help us with this process by reading our policy that is in place to ensure a positive and focused environment, which you can view by clicking here.
✅ Dress Code Update: Gymnasts are to wear their own leotard or one piece of our club kit (Leotard/Vest/T-shirt) – Please note that crop tops are not permitted for health and safety reasons. We feel this change will give gymnasts a increase sense of team spirit and allowing them to take more pride in their practice. All gymnasts are to be in the correct attire by 15th April, if this causes any difficulty, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
✅ New Equipment Alert! We’re adding a new green crash mat, a block, and a carpet roll to enhance training and safety.
✅ New lesson layout: We’re introducing a fresh new approach to coaching that will help gymnasts grow stronger, gain more knowledge, and progress faster than before!
We’re so excited about these improvements and can’t wait to see your child thrive in this uplifting and supportive environment! Thank you for being part of our gymnastics family. Roll on the next 5 years!
