IMPORTANT NOTICES

• Please email info@energizesportscoaching.co.uk , contact 07858 147 484 or fill in the above form to book your trial session. We only communicate via emails and text (No Whatsapp / phonecalls).

• Onsite we have a free car park for our parents to use.

  Please note due to insurance purposes, after your trial lesson all of our members must purchase a ‘Gymnast membership’ with our governing body IGA , this is £17.99 paid annually. Information will be sent to you on how to join IGA upon registration with us.

• Parents with Gymnasts that are below 4 years old will need to join in with the class and we kindly ask that only 1 parent joins in.

EQUIPMENT

Within our gymnastic classes in New Mills we are very lucky to have a whole range of gymnastic equipment! Bars, Beams, Trampettes, Large floor mats, vaults and plenty more.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

Gymnasts are required to wear a t-shirt/leotard and shorts/tracksuit bottoms or leggings with any long hair tied up. Jewellery cannot be worn. Earrings that cannot be removed must be taped up. Please also bring a drink to each session. Gymnasts will train in their bare feet. To increase the confidence and pride in training, we have optional club kit for you to buy.

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU ARRIVE

Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before the start of your session. Once you have arrived please wait at the entrance for one of our team to sign your child in. On the trial you are welcome to wait downstairs, however on the 2nd lesson please make your way upstairs to the viewing balcony if your child is confident enough to join in by themselves.

HOW WE PROGRESS OUR GYMNASTS

We have our own ‘ENERGY’ awards program whereby gymnasts work towards different level badges and certificates. These are annually assessed and awarded at a club event. At the end of every session we also announce Gymnast of the week, this could be a gymnast who has progressed in their skills, displayed excellent behaviour or grown as an individual. In all of our classes, the children are split into small groups according to their age and ability. Having only started in September 2025, we will look to put on a development class in the future. This will be an invite only class for those waiting to train longer and enter competitions.

CLUB EVENTS

At Energize Gymnastics club we love bringing the community together! Each year we host a minimum of 1 club event per year. In the past, these have included competitions, Fun Days and Performances! #GymnasticsFun

WHAT’S NEW?

Parents can now watch every session. We are inviting parents back into sessions to view your children’s classes. (Please help us with this process by reading our policy that is in place to ensure a  positive and focused environment, which you can view by clicking here. 

Dress Code Update: Gymnasts are to wear their own leotard or one piece of our club kit (Leotard/Vest/T-shirt) – Please note that crop tops are not permitted for health and safety reasons. We feel this change will give gymnasts a increase sense of team spirit  and allowing them to take more pride in their practice. Boys are now required to wear, any blue t-shirt and black shorts.

WEEKS OFF IN 2026:

Our club subscription is £29.85 a month per gymnast. To help our parents budget,  this is effectively a yearly membership split over 12 equal payments and covers 46 weeks of gymnastics a year. The dates we have off as a club are the following: ·       2 Weeks off (21st December – 3rd January) ·       2 Weeks off (30th March –  12th April) ·       2 Weeks off (24th August – 6th September 2026) The price will remain the same for periods we have off as these weeks have all been taken into account in regards to the monthly price.
